My first entry as a 21-year-old

Sh*t's about to go down.

Dear Younger Self,

We’re embarking on a new adventure—a new chapter in life—and it’s both terrifying and exhilarating.

Today I turn 21.

A few weeks ago, I had a realisation: I want to be remembered as someone who inspires others to chase their dreams, to build a life that makes them truly happy. I want to encourage people not only to embrace the process but also to revel in the results.

That’s my contribution to this world.

I’ve taken on a lot of projects, each one a stepping stone toward building something meaningful for myself and for others. Everything I do is rooted in this vision of being an inspirer—someone who sparks others to create, achieve, and thrive.

To give you more context before we get into the nitty-gritty: I’ve set myself a four-year timeline to get my act together. Four years to lay the foundations for something extraordinary—for myself, my family, and my friends. By the time I turn 25, I plan to begin the next big chapter of my life: travelling the world for as long as I can.

When I say I’m setting up something big, I mean building a life that gives me the freedom to travel without being tied to a 9-to-5 in Brisbane. I want to be the CEO of my own business—one that takes me across the globe. Right now, that vision centres on growing Terry Adams and building and selling a series of other businesses.

For my friends and family, I want to help them launch their own projects, whatever they may be, so they too can live life on their own terms.

One dream I’m working on is creating a service-based business with best friend—a community of creative, ambitious people who share resources, lessons, and even investments. Something like Hampton by Sam Parr but with our own unique twist.

I also want to build a business for mum, dad, sister, brother, friends—anyone who dreams of creating something meaningful. I’ll help turn their ideas into income-generating realities.

Terry Adams will be my flagship—something I bootstrap, build, and take global. The other businesses will be ventures I create, hand off, or sell.

Oh, and I’m also coaching on the side because I love it. It’s a completely different niche from everything else I’m working on, and that contrast keeps things exciting.

Another big goal? Buying an apartment in Brisbane. I want a home base I can always return to—a place to rent out to my siblings while I travel the world.

I want to make massive progress on both my personal and professional projects. Professionally, I’ve made it clear that I want to establish myself as a thought leader in the business world. My current job provides a safety net but also aligns with my broader goals: meeting impressive people, building meaningful relationships, and learning as much as I can as fast as I can.

But here’s the thing: I can’t just talk the talk—I need to take action. Lately, I’ve been lazy. My calendar looks chaotic, but deep down, I know it’s mostly procrastination.

Next year, I need to tick off some major milestones.

You’ve got this.

With Love,

Le Hare

  3. Success is about building meaningful connections. Relationships—personal and professional—are the foundation of a fulfilling life.

  4. Clarity of purpose keeps procrastination at bay. When you feel stuck, revisit your "why" to reignite your drive.

Reflective Prompt

What is one project or dream you’ve been putting off, and what is one small step you can take today to move it forward?

A: Rebuilding my Dad’s website as he is wanting to retire at the start of next year and go full time with Why Safety Matters. So, I want to have finished or atleast built most of his website before then.

Your Turn.

Love,

Le Hare xoxo
